My father, who I admire and appreciate beyond words, is the person that this success story is about. I’m writing on his behalf because I feel that he needs to remember what he did (he’s at the bad place in his life right now) and to support him in bringing that faith back. Also I would like for everyone to benefit from it.

Approximately 8 years ago (towards the end of 1999) my dad was expressing strong desire to move to America. We lived in Serbia (Eastern Europe) and political and economic situation was getting worse. There was no sign that it will get any better in the near future. My dad was extremely worried about our future. He decided that something needed to be done so he tried everything he could in order for us to move (seeking help from friends and family that already lived in America, applying for visa, entering the embassy lottery…). I don’t remember him talking to us about it in great detail. He did all that but was quiet and at one point it seemed like he forgot about the idea all together. We were going about our lives like usual.

What we didn’t know (not even my mom) is that he wrote on a piece of paper “My family and I will be in America by September 1st of 2000 legally and with no complications”(sometime in January of 2000). He would carry it with him in his wallet and he would re-read it every once in a while. Most importantly he was so sure in his mind that it is possible; he accepted it as a fact. He says that he didn’t share it with any of us because he knew we would try to convince him otherwise or try to point out that he needs to be real and not set his hopes so high.

Anyone who came to America knows how hard it can be, especially to stay, live and work legally. His idea was born from a need but he didn’t feel like someone who begs for anything. He knew what he wanted and he took action. Most importantly he was open to receive and he proved that by never doubting (not once since he wrote those words on the piece of paper) that he will succeed.

Sometime in May of that same year he received a letter saying that we are selected as winners (whole family) in embassy lottery and that we will receive the exact date when we can move to America, if we pass all other requirements.
It took more action on our part but that was very good news so it was exciting. Very next month we received the other letter saying that we’re getting green cards and will be legal from August 31st of 2000. We landed in America on that same day at 7:30pm or so which was by the way 2:30am September 1st of 2000 in Serbia.

Strong desire and belief that my father had changed our lives from the root. The way it all happened left me speechless. Chances of his desire becoming reality were almost next to impossible but he did it. I’m very grateful for having such an extraordinary person in my life. I hope he realizes that this was not some crazy coincidence (he forgot along the way that it was anything but coincidence) and that he will use it create more of his desires. I hope all of you, including myself, will realize that there is no dream big enough to stop you from attaining it.

All the best and believe in that divine part of yourselves
that we all have, – Visnja

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

I have read & purchased many books on creating abundance and it does not seem to be working. My income has not increased and I am very frustrated. I am an avid reader and try to implement what I’ve read into real life and I see no results.

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

Let me first acknowledge that your feeling of frustration is normal and for some, enough to say, “I give up and I’m going to stop trying to use this nonsense.” And, should you decide you’re ready to stop trying, that may be the very best medicine for the situation!

You have probably heard the story of the many couples who have been trying desperately to have a child and they even go through all the infertility programs, invitro processes and any other tool known to modern science but still can’t get pregnant. Finally they say, “Forget it! We give up!” And they adopt a child. Then, as if by some strange miracle, after they adopt, they get pregnant. The modern science term for this is psychogenic infertility. I would call this the activation of the Law of detachment and the Law of allowing.

So, if you are trying really hard to manifest more money and it just isn’t happening – then give up! (Apply the Law of Detachment) Allow yourself to say okay, forget this and instead ask yourself what you can do (physically) now to feel better about your situation. (Apply the Law of Allowing) The answer may be cut expenses, sell possessions, ask for help, consolidate debts, and/or take a second or third job. It doesn’t matter what the answer is it only matters that you do something NOW to get yourself in a better “feeling” place about your life and finances.

The issue is really about how you feel. It is impossible to manifest anything that you want when you feel frustrated. All that you will be able to manifest from this place of frustration will be more things to be frustrated about. I would suggest that your next order of business would be to surrender to things being the way they are right now – forever. In surrendering to the way things are, what you actually do is release your resistance to having them be in your life. When you release resistance, you let go of the vibrational rope that has been holding the poverty in your experience in the first place.

One way to do this is to make a list of the 50 things in your life that you feel negative, frustrated or angry about. Then take each and every one and surrender to “this is the way it is and possibly will always be. I’m not going to fight this anymore. This experience (be specific) is in my life now whether I fight it or not and I’m just NOT going to fight it anymore. It is what it is and I let it go. If this is what is part of the Divine Plan for me then so be it. I surrender to the Divine Order of life and accept it as perfect now!”

Once you feel “okay” and at peace with the way life is today. Then you can begin fantasizing about what else you would like and thereby attract more. However, stay aware of how you are feeling and if you feel frustrated then know that you are not allowing your good. Maintain a sense that all is well and you will be in alignment with the greater good that you previously and currently desire!

Additionally, before you take drastic action please recognize that if you do something life changing, and drastic before aligning your energy then you will not be happy with those results either. For example, if quitting your job today feels right then know that you can’t get it wrong. However, you must also know that whatever feeling you leave your job today with — is the feeling that you are creating your new job with. In other words, if you don’t want another job that’s worse or at best – just like this one – then you have to heal your feelings towards this job so that you can create anew.

One way to do this would be to forgive this current experience and everyone involved with it including you. For example, you can bless this job as being what you needed up until now and perfect in every way. If you really want to leave it behind, then bless it until you feel totally at peace with it being exactly what you needed in your life up until now. Then bless whatever comes next as perfect in every way.

When you do make a decision, be FEARLESS! Bless your decisions and bless your future. Don’t take action out of fear, anger, or frustration. If you only take action out of peace and love, then you will have an fun, easier time getting to your next positive adventure.

Spiritual By-Pass & Peace vs. War

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

I recently read an article that spoke very clearly about not supporting the war by NOT giving it our attention. Which means we should not be energizing Peace, as this only confirms the illusion of duality and therefore actually supports war.

All Spiritual seekers, at some point in our growth, will come into contact with this paradox. I have had some very interesting conversations recently about the illusions that we perpetuate with our attention and how to manage the seemingly “realness” of our experience with the Universal and higher Truth that anything less than LOVE is an illusion.

The philosophy goes something like this:

War, since it is not LOVE, cannot be real, and is therefore an illusion. And, if we add to the illusion by acknowledging it, we give it power to continue to exist in our lives. Acknowledging duality, keeps our experience filled with duality. Being a peace champion, therefore contributes to War.

There is Truth in what our fellow-creators write. I will never disagree that what is not love is an illusion, because, in my heart of hearts, I know that the ideal spiritual evolution that I am seeking exists in this realm of pure love, and maybe, just maybe, someday, I will be able to choose that path.

We evolve in stages, and I believe that if we actually had an Avatar on this planet that was always vibrating in harmony with Love and Peace then this one being alone could penetrate the illusion of war and hatred and our planet would change overnight.

However, since this has not happened, I believe that while it is essential to pursue enlightenment, and ideally evolve to this place of Love, we ARE where we are, and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging our humanness.

Beware of the Spiritual By-Pass!

My friend Alicia, (also one of my greatest teachers), and I love to talk about the “Spiritual By-pass.” A spiritual by-pass is what we do when we get a signal, for example, that maybe we should slow down, or maybe we should not spend that money today, or maybe we should become a vegetarian, or stop smoking because it’s a healthier way to live, but then being “unlimited beings” we say, “no – I’m not affected by other people’s thoughts. I’m the master of my reality and therefore, I deny any fact that meat is unhealthy or that smoking causes cancer and I choose to smoke and be healthy; I choose to eat meat and remain fit, firm, trim and heart-healthy; I choose to continue going as fast as I want because I am the creator of my own reality – and since all there is – is Love, then I lovingly accept nothing less in my life. I am love, and therefore I only attract love.”

Now, if we were capable and practiced enough to have PURE BELIEF about this thoughtful re-direction of our attention, then this refocusing would indeed manifest a higher, more positive experience. However, on many “thought-form” issues, that is not the case, for most of us.

To illustrate this, let’s take the example of smoking. It is NOT cigarettes that cause cancer, but it is the “thought forms” around smoking that have created a very strong current of “cancerous” energy. Our global consciousness agreement (belief) is that Cigarettes cause cancer. Now, we have studies and scientific evidence proving this belief to be real, and millions of people every year dying from cigarette related illnesses and second hand smoke. The belief in ‘cigarettes cause cancer’ has created a torrential flow of “faithful thoughts” that have made it virtually impossible to smoke without being susceptible to this belief and therefore, cancer. In other words, if you could buck the current of this global belief, then you could smoke and NEVER fear. However, most of us do not possess the capability of possessing pure positive belief in the midst of such pure negative belief. Therefore, it’s easier to quit smoking than to create a different belief!

When someone does a spiritual by-pass on the issue of smoking, they attempt to convince themselves that they are stronger than the global consciousness and can therefore, attract “healthy lungs” anyway. I’ll even acknowledge that some have achieved this, especially pre-anti-smoking campaigns. (P.S. I’m not a smoker, and I’m not pro or against smoking. I’m neutral. I am simply using this as an analogy.)

I can transfer this same understanding to war. WAR has a global consciousness and my truth today is that I am a way-shower. I am a bridge-maker! I am here to help others across the bridge out of the illusion, and into the Truth that Love is all there is. I believe that today, I am not currently at the place in my evolutionary consciousness to dismiss, or deny that the deaths of American and Iraqi soldiers, and the deaths of hundreds of American AND Iraqi civilians is but an illusion.

If today, I was in Iraq and had just lost my child in the name of “freeing me,” I know without a doubt that I would NOT be able to send love and operate from the state of “it’s but an illusion.”

If all of my teachers chose instead of teaching to by-pass “my reality” and instead only acknowledge LOVE, then I wonder…how would I have ever found a teacher that could help me across my first spiritual bridge?

Often when spiritual beings choose to ignore their reality, and do a spiritual by-pass, instead of truly taking their vibration to the state of love, they tend to take their mind to that of acquiescence. In Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s essay “The Meaning of Non-Violence,” he addresses acquiescence when he wrote:

“One method is that of acquiescence. There are those individuals who feel that the only way to deal with their oppression is to resign themselves to the fate of oppression. There are those who surrender and find themselves becoming conditioned to things as they are. They feel that it is better to live with these things than to go through the ordeals of changing the old order to the new order. There was a man who lived in one of the Negro communities in Atlanta some years ago; he used to play his guitar and sing various songs, and one day he was heard singing a song that went something like this: “been down so long that down don’t bother me.” I guess he had achieved a level of freedom-a freedom of exhaustion. He had given up the struggle.”

“So this is the method of acquiescence- but it is not the way. It may be the easy way at times, but it is not the moral way and it is not the courageous way; it is a cowardly way for the individual who adjusts to an evil system, and he must take some of the responsibility for the perpetuation of the unjust system.” (1)

Mahatma Gandhi did not change the course of India’s future by denying the violence and injustice! He altered life by practicing complete and total non-violence and Satyagraha, which means firmness in TRUTH. (Sat means truth and Agraha means firmness). He brought about a shift in consciousness regarding “untouchables” not by denying their existence, but by loving them actively. He challenged the foreign rule, not by denying its existence, but by “acting” as if he was already free. He was a proponent of Peace, not by fighting against war, and not by ignoring the goal of PEACE, but by actively establishing a model of Peace with everyone he came in contact with.

Gandhi’s self-realization pursuit; his desire to know God face to face, did not distract him from his duties as a human but lifted him up to inspire a nation. Inspire, of course, means to fill with Spirit.

Therefore, for me, I MUST focus on PEACE! I must BE the light on my purposeful path, which means that I must get in the trenches and be the teacher that illuminates the bridge, and occasionally, that means getting my hands dirty, and even having my emotions vulnerable to the moment of the illusion, because I’m human.

I have cried over this war, but I know my tears must evolve if they are to be helpful. I have been angry over the injustice, the greed, the condemnable acts of both countries involved, however, I know that my anger ONLY adds to the energy of war. Therefore, I must transcend the lower level emotions of grief, fear, anger, and pride and find within myself a place to take inspired action, from the emotions of willingness, acceptance, love, gratitude and peace.

Mother Theresa said it so well:
“I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations.
I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace
rally, I’ll be there.”

Rosa Parks may not have been thinking, “I’m going to start the civil rights movement” when she refused to give up her seat, but she also wasn’t doing a spiritual by-pass by denying her reality. She was an ordinary woman, doing the best she could in that moment, being willing to be a way-shower not out of “choice” but out of a commitment to her truth, a commitment to a firmness in Truth.

Therefore, I’m writing to share with you my feelings about how important it is to acknowledge where we are on our paths and SEE that maybe, just maybe, we are way-showers who are NOT meant to do the spiritual by-pass, but instead are meant to energize love through the seeking of Peace. I am committed to Peace by being committed to firmness in Truth!

How to Manfiest Question

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

There was a time when religion was a thorn for me. A time when I resented God for being so unfair with the delivery of good and evil, reward and punishment. Then, when I began my spiritual path and realized that God doesn’t do anything unpredictable, or out of alignment with my vibration, I began to resent Jesus for making things so difficult to understand and then blamed religion for complicating the Truth. Now, however, I feel that I’ve reconciled many of my judgments and I recognize the importance of religion in delivering to many a vital message.

Creative manifesting requires that we recognize that there are no mistakes. Therefore, there must be a higher order of life or what Christians might call the “Will of God”. This one is tough for many metaphysical seekers to reconcile. It appears as though the “Will of God” would imply an outside force that imposes its WILL upon us, a force that is working against or not in accordance to anything we have to say or do about the matter.

Understanding what the WILL of GOD means if we believe that “we create our own reality” can mean the difference between success and failure to a co-creator.   Try substituting “the Law of Attraction” for the “Will of God”. For me, it is easier to be creative and access higher powers if I relax in the fact that I can always depend on the Law of Attraction to do its job. It never falters nor veers from its unbiased, impersonal delivery of “that which is likened unto itself is drawn” and like energy attracts like energy. Which means that even when I manage to botch a “creative” desire, I can trust that the Law of Attraction is at work in this situation now. Then, I can in this moment accept this as perfect and start all-over with what I want.   That is what God’s Will means to me — The Law of Attraction is at work no matter what and THAT makes this a perfect Universe!

I don’t pretend to be a bible scholar, nor do I spend hours studying. However, I have found peace in knowing that my “metaphysical” beliefs are confirmed by the words written so many years ago. When we can stand back and look at the words and not another’s interpretation of the words, then great insights and comfort can be drawn from that international best seller, the bible.

 First start with Matthew 17:20

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.“

This is what I teach and what every intentional manifestation is founded upon. There’s no variance, incongruity, or even mystery to how this works in our life. It works 100% of the time no matter what the outcome. Even if what we have in our life appears to be opposite of what we want – we created it through the power of our thoughts and beliefs – which is what God, the all-that-is, answers – always!

Here’s the catch – and there are a couple of catches:

Catch #1: Any outcome that you desire to intentionally manifest, you must be able to believe with all your heart and soul in order to manifest it. You must be able to believe that it is possible, completely possible and even probable, in order to manifest it. You must have unwavering faith.

 Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

For example, if what you ideally want is for ALL your dreams to come true today, to win the lottery today, to marry a prince today, to have total planetary peace today then you might struggle to believe that is possible and therefore would not be able to intentionally manifest it. However, let’s get something clear – it IS possible. We are unlimited and therefore nothing is impossible when we believe. However, manifesting something that we know we can believe in is more likely to yield success and thereby strengthen our manifesting muscle in training for the more difficult events.

Catch #2: Our fears and doubts actually keep us from our greater good. Therefore, we must detach and let go of our fears. One way to do this with great success is to surrender all our fears over to God, to the Christ within or to the Divine Order of Life. When we hand our demons over and release our stranglehold on them, we let go of the noose that is in fact pulling those actualized fears to us.

 Luke 12:32

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

John 4:17-19

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Catch #3: Do not tell anyone that you are creating a fabulous castle, a starring role in the next George Clooney movie or even a free hotdog at the fair. We are truly vulnerable to the thoughts of others until we are cast-iron in our belief. Therefore, keep your creative ambitions a secret. The exception to this would be a mastermind partner, a coach, or enlightened friend that knows these Truths and can totally support you in visualizing the creation also.

 Matthew 7:6

Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Catch #4: Accepting your unlimited potential and that you are a Divine Child of God is essential to mastering creative manifesting. In fact the more you know this, the more fulfilled your life becomes automatically. You must choose to become aware and to know that the Divine Power is within you right now!

 John 17:21-23

I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.

Catch #5: You must transform your thinking if you want to transform your life. Affirmations are a necessary tool in creating new thoughts to intentionally replace the old ones.

 Romans 12:1-3

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

And the last Catch is to connect with spirit. By seeking the experience of God first you unconsciously and almost magically become a match to all that you desire.   The more fulfilled your life is the more fulfilled your life will become. Therefore, becoming aware of the Kingdom within will create a force field of positive vibrations that will radiantly attract your wildest and most wonderful dreams.

Matthew 6:32-34

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

The Kingdom of God to me is simply the essence of God: , Wisdom, Peace, Wholeness, Love, Faith, Beauty, Prosperity. Seek to know these feelings (by expressing them) inside and out and all things will be added unto you.

How do I find my life’s mission or fulfillment?

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

How do I find my life’s purpose or my personal mission? How do I find that one reason for living that brings to me ultimate fulfillment and like I’m living the life I was supposed to be?

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

Fulfillment: meaning accomplishment, achievement, realization, or completion. The word implies an ending of sorts, and therefore the implication that one “finds fulfillment” is inaccurate at best. Fulfillment comes from a sense of “being,” not from an ending. There are 3 important elements (that can be taken in steps) to live a life of fulfillment:

1) Want Fearlessly

2) Act Courageously

3) Be willing

Desiring to know your life purpose is important; it’s a good first step or awareness to think, “I want to know why I was born.” However, desire alone isn’t enough. Desire, tends to come from an awareness of the opposing experiences in our life. Therefore, desire is focused on the negative, not on the positive. For example, when a person moves to a foreign country, the desire for learning the language, comes from the awareness that, “I don’t want to be misunderstood or frustrated.”

The desire does NOT arrive from a “love” of the language alone. Instead the desire originates from a realization of what we don’t want: communication frustration.

Therefore, when most of us say, “I want to live my life purpose,” we are generally more focused on the feelings and thoughts such as, “This job is a dead end; I feel like I’m floundering; I don’t know what I want to do; I feel dispassionate, lethargic, undirected, disorganized, unfulfilled etc.”

As long as we are more focused on what we don’t want, instead of what we do want, fulfillment will always be one step ahead of us. Once we recognize that we’re in a place of desire, it’s essential to take the next step and WANT that desire fearlessly. By wanting something fearlessly, we begin moving the desire into the positive realm where we will be more receptive to guidance.

Divine guidance WILL come forth, and we WILL be inspired to take the RIGHT actions to fulfill our desire, but we MUST be in the “positive vibrational” quadrant in order to receive it.

Courage, according to Dr. David Hawkin’s work in Power Vs. Force, is the first positive emotion, and begins, at a calibration of 200. (Which is in the positive vibrational quadrant.)

Therefore, the first action step will always be to take action courageously. By just saying the words, “I am courageous! I am bold!” you are beginning to vibrate with the positive energy that attracts positive experiences.

The positive feelings of fulfillment will begin right where you are. You do not have to change jobs, change mates, change your geographic demographics to find fulfillment, but instead evolve your mental attitude from “I want to know my life purpose,” to “I fearlessly want to know my life purpose,” to “I am courageously pursuing my life purpose.”Then, proceed to a willingness to BE fulfilled.

This means, being fulfilled exactly where you are, beginning now. Willingness will transform your current situation, but you have to be willing – to be willing.

Six months before he was assassinated, Martin Luther King Jr. spoke to a group of students at Barratt Junior High School in Philadelphia on October 26, 1967. The following excerpt speaks clearly the message I’d like you to hear.

“And when you discover what you will be in your life, set out to do it as if God Almighty called you at this particular moment in history to do it. Don’t just set out to do a good job. Set out to do such a good job that the living, the dead or the unborn couldn’t do it any better.

If it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures, sweep streets like Beethoven composed music, sweep streets like Leontyne Price sings before the Metropolitan Opera. Sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry. Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will have to pause and say: Here lived a great street sweeper who swept his job well. If you can’t be a pine at the top of the hill, be a shrub in the valley. Be the best little shrub on the side of the hill.”*

When I propose to some clients that they choose to be fulfilled right where they are, I’ve noticed that it brings up the feeling of fear. They are afraid that feeling fulfilled right now, will keep their “perceived negative” experience with them. They falsely believe that “disliking” the situation protects them from complacency. It does not. Disliking a situation actually holds that situation in your experience. Being fulfilled now, will attract fulfillment in the way of your life’s work, your life’s path, and the reason you were born. What you are learning now – is already part of your life’s path. Be grateful for it, and more things will be added to your life to be grateful for. So Want Fearlessly, Act Courageously, and Be Willing. This will put you in the right place mentally, to be inspired spiritually, to act physically.

Honor the sacred in every moment and resonate with the power

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

Typing fervently in a dimly corner of the Soup ‘n Salad bar buffet restaurant, I ponder my topic for the day – honoring the sacred of every moment and I ask myself, what is sacred about cream of mushroom soup?   I smirk at the thought that anyone around me may be contemplating the same question.  I recall once reading a recipe in the original Moosewood cookbook for a cream of mushroom soup.  From what I remember, it had three types of mushrooms: Shitake, Portabella and that special variety so easily found in all supermarkets covered with specks of sand in the styro-foam container, whose name is ironically -mushroom.

I remember that the author, Mollie Katzen, wrote in the preface to the recipe that her favorite comment about this soup was that it was like ” sipping the essence of mushrooms .”

That is it – honoring the sacred is like sipping the essence of mushrooms in every day living.  Honoring the sacred is sipping the essence of life in every moment.   When we sip the essence of what the moment has to offer, we bypass the mental, material, physical – third dimensional bologna (that’s a technical term) that influences our interpretation of the moment and instead land at the heart of the experience.  The heart of every experience, without exception, is the opportunity to learn, to grow, to love, to heal, to appreciate and to express our Divine nature.

Of course taking advantage of the opportunity is another enigma in and of itself.  However, my objective with this article is to focus on how seeing the sacred essence of every moment will equip us with the awareness required to more fully realize our fullest potential as human beings.  The first step towards conscious change is awareness.  Once we have a visual on the issue at hand we can then consciously maneuver and make the appropriate decisions that will support and uplift us to the exalted space of satisfaction that we all desire.

In the past the word sacred meant not singing at the dinner table because God might not approve, or not skipping through the church halls because it would be disrespectful to the Great One that should be feared, as this was His sacred place.  Sacred observation has nothing to do with being God-fearing but everything to do with being fully baptized in the appreciation of life.

So, what’s the payoff?  What do I get if I walk around appreciating everything in life?   What do I get for seeing the sacred in the bumblebee that’s chasing my three-year-old son? Or in the yapping dog next door or in the beautiful blue-haired boob in the blue Buick that cuts me off and drives 20 mph on the freeway on ramp?  If I am going to be a Pollyanna – I want to know what I’m going to get out of it.

I am no different than most when it comes to wanting instant gratification even in my pursuit of enlightenment.  Yes, I want enlightenment but I’d be lying if I said I was ever going to be willing to walk around in a bed-sheet to get it. Yes, what I want is to overcome the ego-driven pursuit of Earthly possessions and my deepest desire is to have Peace on Earth, good will towards all men/women and to live my life completely saturated with the love of God and my fellow human.

This is all true – that’s what I want – and that is sacred, but I also want – what else I want!  I want nice things, a nice place to live, a beautiful, loving relationship, travel, adventure, fun, respect, success and prosperity and these are sacred too! I believe there is nothing unspiritual about wanting to “suck the marrow out of life” and as long as my desires are in alignment with my ultimate values and reason for being – then each desire at its core has the potential for atonement and spiritual enlightenment – and therefore is sacred.

How then does honoring the sacred in every day living benefit me while also benefiting my ultimate spiritual desires?   What’s the purpose and will it help me get more of what I want out of life?

The payoff to seeing the sacred is that we get to resonate with the essence of spirit, the essence of gratitude, the essence of the Divine and thereby reap the rewards of what that vibration can and must do for us.  The rewards are that we get to be more attractive, we get to be happier, healthier, more successful and more prosperous – just by honoring the sacred in the moment.  Why?  Because it is absolutely impossible to honor the sacred and to be in harmony with anything less than your truest desires in that moment.  What a deal – we get to be happier in the moment, more at peace with life while also being completely in-tune with that new car we have been dreaming about and that sexy specimen of the opposite sex that we’ve been fancying – or something or someone better.

Honoring the sacred is a simple exercise in looking past the mushrooms in the soup, looking past the fat in the cream and seeing and experiencing the essence of what the soup and the moment is and has to offer.  Honoring the sacred means we ask – in every moment  – what is sacred about this moment?  What is sacred about this experience?  What is sacred about my life today?

At the essence of everything and everyone is the experience of love, the experience of beauty and the essence of the Divine.  When we choose to see that – we are choosing to raise our level of consciousness, raise our vibration and be in harmony with our life’s purpose and ALL that we ultimately desire that is in harmony with our highest good.  Thus we are in harmony with the energy that creates worlds AND fulfills our dreams.

The Rehearsal that Makes a Lifetime Difference

Within every human being exists a propensity for greatness. The gifts may vary, and the greatness may live out in a vast array of alternatives-say from carpentry to rocket science-but the gift that gives one true self-respect, lifts the spirit from “same old, same old,” resides within. It is our ability to do our very best with our talents in every thing we do. This potential resides within each one of us-but if so, then why is it so often denied?

Every individual essentially has a self-representation that is rehearsed and eventually actualized. The process begins by fantasizing at a very early age. We fantasize a script, perhaps one of those from some Hollywood production. We begin rehearsing it, and we either abandon it to take up a new one or practice it until we role-play that script as who we are. Practicing the script sooner or later automates the behavior. Our imprinting environment plays a significant role in the alternative scripts available to us. If the parents are uncaring and abusive, so are the children, and so forth. If warmth and friendliness lead to embarrassment, then cold and aloof compensate. If honesty gets us into trouble, then deception becomes a defense strategy, and so forth.

It is much more complicated than expressed here, but simply, it is also just this way. In fact, every one of us divides ourselves among four essential views of ourselves. These four faces include the following:

Our actual self. Our ideal self. Our ought-to-be self. Our desired self.

These categories were originally developed by P. A. D. Singer to show how the different selves conflict with each other. I will use it differently.

Most of us are aware of a so-called actual self. This is the self that has failed in ways we often will not share with others. This is the private self. This self holds the thoughts we wish we did not have, the acts we wish we had not done, our beliefs about our worth, our attractiveness, and so forth. It is the self of our secrets and our ambitions. It is the self that most try to change in some way or another at some time in their life-perhaps even perpetually.

The actual self pales by comparison to our ideal self. The ideal self is often a construct built by our culture. This self would live a perfect life-without error and therefore without room for growth.

Then there is our “ought-to-be self.” This is the self full of all our learned “shoulds” and “oughts.” This self differs from our ideal self in the sense that many of the oughts are not ours-they are the oughts of our culture, our society-but deep down inside they are not ours. Sometimes these oughts are the result of rules that make little or no sense to us; sometimes the oughts are of codependent negotiations such as those implied when Mom said things like, “If you loved me, you would not behave that way,” or “If you loved me, you would do what I said,” and so forth. Still, even when one recognizes the source and the nature of the ought relationship from which the oughts themselves arise, they often persist.

Finally, there is the desired self. Somewhere among all of our other selves is a self that we believe we could be. This is the self we long for, especially when we are young and planning our future. It is also the source of much discontent in our later life if the desires have not been fulfilled-and they rarely, if ever, are.

The ought-to-be self, desired self, and ideal self share certain commonalities, but they also differ remarkably.
There is psychic tension among them and in their totality, substantial tension between them and our so-called actual self.

Now, there’s one more thing I wish to add before continuing. The actual self is seldom the true actual self. The actual self is the self of self-perception and therefore is complete with every believed limitation that accompanies one’s private self-perception together with every defense adjustment our mechanisms have created to protect our self image or ego.

Okay, all of this is accomplished while we are still very young. In time we gain the wisdom and insight to become familiar with this maturation process and a myriad of other operations that function in our culture, our homes, etc. to produce socially acceptable membership and behavior. Using one of Shakespeare’s metaphors, life is a stage where we play our various parts, perhaps it’s time for a new rehearsal. Indeed, change, improvement, true self- actualization and so forth, all require that we create a new character. Using our power of imagination and consciously choosing the role playing model we will rehearse, will greatly assist and facilitate any change.

Therefore, it literally behooves all of us to watch those conversation exchanges that take place in our head as well as every other aspect of our “rehearsing” behavior. To experience our best we must practice/rehearse our best at all levels of our being. It works-but it can also be much easier said than done. Still, life’s cornucopia of joy awaits those willing to make the effort.

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

1. How can I give away what I don’t have so that I can get more of it, if I don’t have any to begin with?

2. What if I’m old and have health issues, can I find a mate?

3. How do I know the differences between the signs of land that are Divine and those that are Ego centered?

4. What do you sense in your spirit for me to do? How do I manifest my heart’s desires?

Q: I have read your article about the signs of land and projections and it’s not very clear. Please explain how can we be sure that it’s our Divine soul who is sending us signs and not our ego? – Maria, Bucharest, Romania

A:
Higher Consciousness ALWAYS feels aligned and at peace while ego and lower level consciousness feels judgmental, disappointed, edgy, unsure, and hesitant.

However, when we judge the signs of land as ‘insignificant’ or ‘less than what we want’ they may be Divinely Ordered but our EGO gets in the way by saying, ‘this isn’t what I wanted?!’ It’s this judgment that suffocates the potentiality, rendering what might have been wilted, fragmented or dying on the vine.

EVERYTHING is a sign of land representing what we’re attracting at any given moment. Ego and our Divine Soul are always intermingling according to our current level of consciousness. Therefore, the question isn’t to ask is it Ego or Divine, but to ask how I could respond to this moment in order to navigate to the destination of my conscious choice. When we respond with gratitude, we align with the Higher Divine Soul. When we respond with doubt and criticism, it’s Ego.

Q: “But what if I’m 72 and I have health issues and that keeps me from manifesting a love relationship?”

A:

My grandfather married his 5th wife at age 93 because he still believes he’s ‘all-that-and-then-some!’ It’s all in our belief system. If you recognize you have beliefs that prevent YOU from loving yourself, then use Emotional Freedom Technique to first get rid of the self-punishment and self-hate. What will be left is the joyous love of your own true self… And, THAT is vibrationally powerful and attractive to a mate that would jump tall buildings to be with you!

To use EFT, you might try ….
– ‘Even though I have this health issue (be specific) and no one is going to want an old, sick woman… I don’t care – I LOVE myself anyway. And, what if I did find my ideal mate who is CRAZY about me?!’

–Even though I’m really afraid that I’m too old for love, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. And, what if I claimed my right to the best romance and love of my life? What if I allowed the unlimited power of my divine self to shine on me now – illuminating my heart and magnetizing the best relationship of my life?!’

Q: What do you sense in your spirit for me to do? How can I manifest my heart’s desires?

A:

When we ask others what they ’see’ for us it’s because we don’t trust that we can ’see’ for ourselves, or that what we see is trustworthy. However, since our souls are forever connected – what my soul accesses your soul can access. Thus, in order to manifest your heart’s desires, you must first tune-into your heart. Practice meditating with your heart and the love of love as the center of your meditation. You will find the answers there. I know this sounds quaint and silly, but if the answers you are searching for were ‘out here’, you’d have already found them!

In the book, The HeartMath Solution, by Doc Childre and Howard Martin, you’ll find marvelous exercises for accessing and expanding your connection to your spirit, your own sense of intuition, and very importantly – your heart’s desires through the love of yourself!

Q: I have a question regarding The Law of Reciprocity as discussed in “Conscious Creation 101, Module 4″.
In the module you mention the following:

“One tip about this law: The Law of Reciprocity cannot be positively harnessed from a place of “I want this, so I’m going to give ‘this amount’, in order to get.” This intention sets forth a vibration of self-centered, egocentric, giving that neither benefits the receiver nor the giver.”

However in the Fieldwork section you basically want us to do what you just said we must not do?, i.e.:
1) Write down the answer to: “What three things do I want more of in my life?”
2) Now, decide how you will give these three things away.

This process confuses me and has been bugging me for a very long time.
Also, when you don’t have something and you desire that which you don’t have, how can you give it away?

Thanks for your time and I have already learned a lot from the first couple of modules. – Nico (Centurion, South Africa)

A:
Great question, thanks Nico. Let me clarify as I can see why that’s confusing! It’s really important to understand that our most dominant vibration is what attracts or repels the very things that we want in life. Thus, if we give $10 dollars away because we ‘desperately’ need $100, then the vibration of desperation will prevent the Universe from responding generously to our toxic-generosity.

However, I dare anyone that is ‘broke’ to see what happens when you give money away – not because you WANT money back but because you WANT to help others experience a little prosperity and because you WANT to show your higher self that you KNOW where your real source and supply comes from.

There’s a story of a priest and a nun that were driving to a special function where they were expected to feed a crowd of hungry villagers. They didn’t have enough money. The nun said, “But father, we only have $13.00?! How will we decide who to feed?” The priest took the coin-purse and threw it out the window. He said, “It’s not up to us to decide. Let’s put our faith in our Father above – let HIM decide who to feed and how.”
They arrive at the village and within minutes, a stranger approaches and hands them a key. The key unlocked his supply truck that held an entire shipment of much needed medical supplies and of course, more than enough food to spare and to share.
The priest didn’t throw the money out the window in order to ‘get something in return’. He threw it out the window to remind him of where his faith should be. Our faith is NOT meant to be on the money, or the job, or the lottery, or the relationship, or anything else that is external. No person, place, thing, or condition is EVER our supply. It’s our acknowledgment and understanding of the Divine Mind within that is the source and supply of our good. This source and supply is GOD and it is ever-increasing and always present. Our work is to tap into it from a place of faith and love.

Therefore, the more we give from a place of faith and love, the more we are tuned-in to the ever-increasing supply of the Divine within.

You also ask, when you don’t have something – how can you give it away?

The answer is you find a way to give some of what you do have away from a place of love. Eventually, you will receive more of what you want. When it arrives, and it will, be sure to continue giving some more away in love and gratitude. Like a storehouse that you continue to stock, your vibration will increase with every act of love and generosity. Eventually, your storehouse will be full and you will have helped others in the process.

P.S. My friend Janis (amazingly wonderful creator) uses this all the time – she’ll say, “Ohhh fast, let me throw this out the window.” One time she threw some change out of the window and within a day she had manifested the perfect amount of unexpected income to attend a seminar that she had wanted. “Works like magic” she says!

Do we have a destiny or is everything just ‘God’s will?’

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

Is there really any such thing as

Law of Attraction Help

Law of Attraction Help

No! There is not some outside force, doctrine, or prearranged destiny asserting itself upon us. However, in our knowledge that we are unlimited, and fully capable of creating our own reality with our thoughts, it’s easy to get caught up in our desires and kick ourselves for NOT creating more on target. This is terribly counterproductive.

When we get attached to what we want, we lose our power. By surrendering to what is meant to be, we play a game with our subconscious that allows us to let go of our attachment, and be at peace with whatever is. “Whatever is – IS. It’s neither good nor bad – it just IS.” By surrendering to “whatever is meant to be, will be,” we are simply making peace with life thereby releasing our resistance and creating a foundation of serenity upon which we may create intentionally our destiny/desires. We can shift our attention from “what IS” to what we want when we are at peace with what is.

Another way of saying what is “meant to be,” is to say, “I accept the fact that the Law of Attraction is at work here and now. The Divine Order is established and at this moment, I accept and appreciate this thing/situation to be the perfect manifestation of the Laws of Creation.

These Laws are always at work! Therefore everything is exactly as it’s meant to be now! I surrender and find total peace in the Laws of the Universe at work in my life now. I am at Peace knowing that the Law of Attraction is unchangeable, immutable, and unbiased and whatever I have created in this moment is perfect for my highest growth now. It can be no other way! If I have enacted the Law of Attraction to manifest “this experience” in my life, then I can enact it to unmanifest it and create something better. However, in this moment, I find total Peace knowing all is well. All is in perfect order and I relax and appreciate this now. I am at peace now.”

How do I get started creating something better – I’m in a rut?!?

How to Manfiest Question

How to Manfiest Question

Dear Anisa,
I want to create a better life for myself. I feel like I’m not creating the life I always thought I would have personally. I have a beautiful family and husband. However I don’t feel like I am creating what I want for myself emotionally, artistically, and professionally. How can I get started on getting out of this personal rut that I know is a reflection of my thoughts and beliefs? Sincerely, A.S.

Ask Questions! The best way to launch a new life is to start asking questions:
- What do I want?
- What do I already have that I am grateful for, but want more of?
- What is my life missing that would bring me fulfillment?
- What did I love to do as a child, but have forgotten about?
- What dreams have I put on the ‘on-the-back-burner’ indefinitely?
- What would I do, if I could do anything?
- If I did pursue this, what would the steps be?
- What am I willing to do?
- What am I not willing to do?
- What would I be willing to sacrifice in order to achieve this?
- How can I make a contribution?
- What are my strengths and talents?
- What do I do really well?
- What do I want to avoid doing?

We are creative beings! We were meant to create! We cannot help but want to grow, build, be inspired, and to feel like we are making a contribution!

Whenever I hear someone say, “I just want to retire and do nothing.” I know that this is just their exhaustion talking. We all feel this way when we get ‘burned-out’ and need a break. However, this desire does not come from the spirit within us that will eventually rise above the exhaustion and call us to create, create, create!

Sometimes we get in a rut when we don’t have that next ‘creation’ on the horizon. When we aren’t sure where to flow our creative energy, our desire to make a contribution, we can feel stuck, stagnant, and even anxious. The energy within us builds up like a smoldering volcano wanting to explode.

There are times when this build up will cause us to take it out negatively on those around us or we can feel depressed without knowing why. We must find a way to release this energy. We must find a way to flow our intentions and our desire to manifest opportunities to express this creative energy, or we will be missing our life purpose!

Therefore, to get started be willing to just ask yourself questions until something very appealing bubbles to the surface. One answer will stand out above the others and you’ll begin to feel a little excitement, maybe even a little afraid, but never the less, you’ll begin to feel real emotions about this idea.

Be willing to pursue the idea on paper. What would your life look like if you would pursue this? What are the risks? Are you willing to both fail and to succeed? First, write down a list of everything that you want this idea to be like, feel like, etc.

Then, write down every little step physically, mentally, and spiritually that would have to happen in order for you to achieve this idea.

Pray for guidance and then select 5 baby-steps to do this month. Don’t worry about whether or not this is the right path for you. It may not be the ultimate direction for you. However, even if this idea is just the stepping stone that leads you to the next idea, or the next one, just the act of taking action will allow you to begin attracting your real purpose and a sense of accomplishment. Simply be willing to just take action and you’ll be on the right path to experience the fulfillment that you really want.
